Description
This on campus course serves as preparation for the trip abroad in Italy, which generally occurs immediately following the conclusion of the spring semester. With a multicultural focus, the course ensures that students will learn to appreciate and respect other peoples and cultures and be prepared to engage in a diverse, globalized, professional environment while abroad. The cost of the trip per student is all-inclusive and will be announced by the professor at the beginning of the fall semester. A non-refundable deposit is required.
Because the trip occurs after the spring semester concludes and coursework still must be completed while in Italy, final letter grades will be posted within a week after the trip ends. Depending on the actual departure date and length of the trip (usually 7-10 days), graduation dates may be affected (i.e. anticipated May graduates may become August graduates instead).
Repeatable for credit.
