Description
Students will explore human movement science through the principles of structural kinesiology and biomechanics. Topics covered will include but are not limited to anatomical terminology, planes of motion, axes of rotation, arthrokinematics, osteokinematics, joint biomechanics, and skeletal muscle origins, insertions, innervation, and actions as they relate to human movement in exercise and sport.
