Description

Pre-Requisite(s): Permission
Ability to walk, trot, and canter securely with and without stirrups and jump up to 21611 capably, along with basic lateral work, is a pre-requisite. Continuing with the principles of the American System of Forward Riding students will learn advanced skills in flat work including lengthening/ shortening of stride, lateral work, simple/ flying changes of lead, and ability to jump a course 21611-2'9" in height on a variety of horses. Students will also learn to jump a course up to 21611 without stirrups. Course may be repeated for six hours maximum credit.
