Description
This course will offer an overview of the four components of Phonics in Motion (KMP’s, Reading and
Writing Monster, Language Calendar, and the Vowel House). Theory, research and practice will be
provided for each component. Participants will be engaged in hands-on practice in all areas of the
program. Participants will also develop an understanding in how to integrate the components into the
demands of the Common Core and Ohio Learning Standards and how it coincides with the Science of
Reading. Participants will also become familiar with the website and its features.
