Description

The beginner's course will focus on the basic fundamentals of yoga practice and I philosophy. Students will learn about asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation,yogic philosophy, and variations in practice. Students will develop their personal yoga practice by attending class, practicing regularly on their own, and keeping a journal to reflect experiences and progress. Beginner I asanas (poses) and basic introductory philosophy will be introduced in the course. Students of any ability are encouraged to take the course. Modifications to accommodate different abilities are made for each class/student.
