Description
The student is expected to develop a written proposal for a senior thesis which may take the form of an extended essay or a series of shorter articles. Once the proposal is accepted, the student is to prepare a manuscript ready for publication. The course also includes readings and written assignments on the ethics of journalism. Students also discuss problems in research methods and in the identification of audiences.
