Description

Basic refrigeration cycle: this course introduces students to basic terminology and fundamental skills related to careers in HVACR. Topics include professional aspects of the career, introduction to heat, temperature, pressure and energy, the compression refrigeration cycle, refrigeration safety, correct use of all refrigeration tools and procedures, Including system evacuation, refrigerant recovery, and system charging. Students will complete EPA 608 and ESCO A2L certifications as part of this course. Students must have successfully completed AS120 with a passing grade or receive instructor approval to enter this course.
