Description
History and Philosophy of Science examines the origins of western science from its beginningsin the ancient world through its develoment in the Middle Ages and into the Early Modern period with what is traditionally designated the Scientific Revolution. The philosophical foundation of Science, both ancient and modern, are explored as well as the gradual emergence of modern science over centuries of dramatic social and cultural change.
