Description
This lab provides essential teaching and individual practice time in the physical application of advanced equine massage therapy techniques and practice as taught in EQ 326. The student has ample time to learn, develop and practice the physical art and science of equine massage, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage under the watchful instructive presence of the instructor in the George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center. Hands-on practice with athletic horses will provide the opportunity for the student to develop a deeper understanding of the common conditions and pathological abnormalities of horses.
