Description

A study of American literary realism, regionalism, and naturalism, with an emphasis on poetry, essays, and fiction. Authors to be considered may include Davis, Twain, Howells, James, Chesnutt, Chopin, Wharton, Crane, Jewett, Norris, Dreiser, and DuBois, among others.
