Description

After several years of virtual instruction and so much focus on digital instruction, students and teachers
need time for social interaction, a chance to flex their creativity, and designated space to move around
while still in a structured environment. This class offers a hands-on approach in order to learn how to
increase student engagement and creative thinking with hands-on strategies that also involve getting up
and moving around the room. This type of learning does require some technology but lends itself more
readily to old-fashioned “analog†activities. We will complete metaphorical thinking activities, 4 corners,
One-Pagers, and other hands-on activities in order to learn about their various uses, and then we will
work together to craft your own lessons that you can apply in your classrooms.
