Description
This course prvides a survey of major theories and research dealing with communication between people of different cultural backgrounds, particularly in international settings. The course examines theoritiocal issues and methodological concerns in studying intercultural communication, and it helps students discover and examine research questions about intercultural phenomena. Class activities emphasize working together in teams and include presentation of materials, guided discussion and analysis, and work on group projects.
